Café Carrera By Baker & Cook (Guoco Midtown)

A brilliant concept! This Baker & Cook outlet inside the Porsche showroom offers a stunning environment that is perfect for a coffee fix or a business catch-up. The high standards of service and coffee quality remain consistent, and the automotive backdrop adds a sophisticated touch. It made my recent client meeting feel both professional and relaxed.

I get my morning coffee from Cafe Carrera almost every day before work. The ambiance is super cool since it’s also a showroom, but what really makes this place special is the baristas. They know my order by heart and always make it perfectly. Gordon always greets me with the biggest smile! Easily a 10/10 experience every time.

Nice experience visiting Cafe Carrera @ Midtown Guoco. Their pastries are very good and reasonably priced. The exhilarating modern interior design, combined with heaps of Porsche-themed fashion wear to browse, makes it quite a unique spot. I look forward to visiting again—especially if they open up the second floor in the future.

The space pairs cosy seating and sunny outdoor tables with sleek car displays, making it a fun spot for casual brunches or coffee breaks amidst gleaming Porsche vehicles. The menu draws on Baker & Cook’s strengths: freshly baked pastries, hearty all-day brunch options like grain bowls and sandwiches, and an array of artisanal coffees and drinks. Most items are reasonably priced compared to typical themed cafés, and many dishes are playfully branded with Porsche-inspired touches, adding to the charm even if food quality can vary by item. On the food front, Café Carrera leans into light bites and café classics rather than full meals: think savoury sandwiches inspired by legendary road routes, chia seed bowls, quiches and beautifully presented pastries that pair well with a flat white or latte. Go for the the butter-rich croissants and the creative sweet items like ondeh-ondeh cakes and themed macarons (especially if you’re after a local twist), though some drinks can be sweeter or more ordinary than expected. Service tends to be friendly, and the vibe is relaxed, making it a good choice for a laid-back brunch or coffee catch-up rather than a destination for heavy eats.

Nice food at reasonable value, good service, generally peaceful ambiance. Located in the Porsche showroom at the new Guoco Midtown, this is a good cafe / bakery / lunch venue in the area. There’s ample seating “outdoors” (covered by the building roof but open air). Apparently you can also sit indoors on the second floor, but tables there are prioritised for car showroom visitors. The bakery selection is limited compared to other Baker & Cook outlets. There are however some “Porsche” desserts (basically a logo placed on the dessert). Food is decent, and pricing is reasonable! The pizzas were nice - note they’re sized for just one person. Service is good. If you’re in the area and looking for coffee, a snack, or brunch, this is a good choice.

Awesome cafe! Absolutely blown away by the quality of the coffee and dessert. Happen to pass by after lunch and was looking for any place that is open to sit down. Pleasantly surprised by the random find.

We had a wonderful experience at Café Carrera by Baker & Cook. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Manager Red and the team, whose hospitality truly stood out. The manager and staff were very attentive, friendly, and patiently addressed all our inquiries, making us feel completely at ease. The coffee is top-notch, pairing perfectly with the restaurant’s cozy and stylish ambiance. Cleanliness is also exceptional the place is spotless and well-kept, adding to the overall comfort. Overall, we were impressed with both the service and the food. A big thank you to Red and the whole team for such a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended! My partner truly enjoyed his birthday here today! Cheers!

Nice Flat white, and super nice chocolate cookies (free little bite with the flat white), so good that I bought one bag of it. The Barista Gordon is definitely warm sweet and funny man, always nice talking to him, and he gave me 3 cookies on my flat white since I said I loved it lol
